2018
During the summer of 2018, I attended “Camp Flog Gnaw”. A carnival hosted by Tyler the Creator in Los Angeles. This carnival was a combination of an amusement park and a music festival, featuring multiple artists and activities. With a camera and a couple of rolls of film, I tried my best to capture the experience of it all.
I decided to turn my boring photographs into a series of collaged pieces of works that captured the experience of the event. I explored a variety of processes from analog to digital to fully amplify the nostalgic LA vibe.
This project helped me overcome the purity of digital design. Making myself create outside the computer screen strengthened my creative abilities.
